Please read the terms and conditions of hire below which sets out the terms of hire as well as important rules to ensure that the bouncy castles are used safely.

THE HIRE PERIOD:
The hire period is for a specified number of hours during the course of 1 day (i.e. am delivery/pm collection) as selected by you when making the booking. If you require the inflatable late into the night, you may specify this at the time of your booking and we are happy to accommodate for an additional charge .
We do not allow inflatables to be located outside between November 1st and April 1st due to adverse weather conditions.

Payment Terms:

Payment of 50% of the hire fee is required 7 days prior to the event. The deposit can be paid by Bank Transfer or by cheque. The remaining 50% should be paid by cash on delivery of the bouncy castle and prior to set up.

DELIVERY & ACCESS:
Please ensure access to the location where you would like the inflatable set up allows us to bring a trolley through & has 3 feet (90cm) clearance. Also that the area is clear as well as free of litter, rubbish and animal foul. We must be able to get a vehicle within 25 metres of the location of the inflatable.

If the inflatable is to be set up inside a hall or venue, there must be suitable parking for a large van (i.e. legal on-road parking or a car park without height restrictions).

If you require the inflatable to be taken up any steps or steep slopes, please advise in advance as additional man-power may be required for larger items for which there may be an additional charge.

The person who has booked the inflatable must be present to take delivery at the agreed time. Where our delivery team arrives at an address/venue and this person is not present, they will wait for a period of 15 minutes whilst attempting to make contact using the telephone numbers provided at the time of booking.

If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of your location or gaining access, please contact us to discuss.

POWER SUPPLY:
Unless otherwise advised we will presume that the inflatable will be running off mains power supply & within 20 metres of a plug socket.

WEATHER CONDITIONS:
In the event of adverse weather conditions such as rain or strong winds, we reserve the right to cancel the booking to maintain the safety of the users & the general public. In such an event we will not charge you the remaining balance for your booking.

THE EQUIPMENT:
Unless you have selected one of our bouncy castles reserved specifically for indoor use, we cannot guarantee that the item will be dry when delivered to you. Any wetness will dry once the unit is inflated and in normal conditions will be dry within an hour. If we are aware that your chosen unit is wet prior to delivery we will endeavour to give you advance notice and where possible offer an earlier delivery to allow for drying time.

CANCELLATION:
You may cancel your booking up to seven days prior to the date of hire by advising us in writing via email to enquires@bouncycastleswales.co.uk without having to pay anything further. If you wish to cancel within seven days of the hire date, the full balance of the hire will be payable.

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this inflatable to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury of the users or damage to the inflatable.

Please note all deposits are non-refundable without exceptions.

THE FOLLOWING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED:

1 – You will be advised of the age limits for your chosen items on delivery. Please ensure that no person who does not meet these limits uses this equipment. Inflatables suitable for use by adults have specially strengthened seams, higher walls and are in general larger. Under NO circumstances must adults use inflatables not designed as such.
2 – Please note that under no circumstance should the following be taken on the bouncy castle:

  • Food
  • Drink
  • Chewing Gum
  • Pets
  • Sharp Objects
  • Toys

3 – All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges and loose items must be removed before using the inflatable
4 – No face paints, party poppers, silly string or coloured streamers are to be used either on or near the inflatable.
5 – No smoking or barbeques within 5 metres of the bouncy castle.
6 – Climbing on, hanging off or sitting on the walls or arches of the inflatable is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.
7 – Always ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded. Limit numbers according to the age and size of the children using it. Try to avoid large & small children using it at the same time.
8 – Ensure children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
9 – If the inflatable is not being used for any period of time, please switch the blower off at the mains.
10 – Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on and off!
11 – Ensure that no one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the inflatable as indeed any child who is feeling unwell.
12 – Do not allow anybody to be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS
13 – Please ensure that children are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.
14 – Ensure an area of 2 metres around the unit is completely clear.
15 – If the inflatable becomes wet inside it should not be used. If your inflatable does not have a shower cover in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.
16 – In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the blower be switched off. When it is re-inflated, any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
17 – In the unlikely event that the blower stops working, please ensure that all users get off of the inflatable immediately.
18 – In the event that the inflatable loses pressure, check that the tube has not become detached from the blower or that something has blown onto and is obstructing the blower. If you are unable to restart the blower, please inform us straight away.
19 – No water or any other substance is to be put on the inflatable as this can be dangerous to users and also damage the equipment.?
20 – If the inflatable is returned in a dirty or damaged condition a charge for cleaning and/or repair will be made.

These rules are in place to ensure the safety of users and must be adhered to at all times
